This week I highlight Thorn.
Thorn builds technology to defend children from sexual abuse.
In this TED Talk, Julie Cordua, CEO at Thorn, talks about how we can eliminate child sexual abuse material from the internet.
Warning: this talk contains mature content.
Thorn was founded by Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, and is run by a distributed team. They get together as a full team at least twice a year, and as smaller teams more often.
Working at Thorn gives you the opportunity to apply your skills, expertise and passions to directly impact the lives of vulnerable and abused children.

Afterthought:
I don’t understand why the remote work debate is so binary—always seems to insist remote is the only good choice. Sure, remote work is fine and I did it for years, but....I like working with my team IRL and don’t hate being in an office?
