Afterthought:
Remote work is far different from being in lockdown. As remote workers, we certainly can share tips on how to work from home, but we are as lost as you are about being locked in our homes.
What you’re experiencing right now isn’t “remote work.” It’s working from home during a pandemic: It’s stressful, for your health (mental and physical) but also for your job situation (as we don’t know if we’ll retain our jobs)
Your companies are introducing “remote work” in a hurry. Most of them are trying to recreate what you’re experiencing in the offices: several meetings a day and show (prove) that you’re present at work. This is not how remote work works. The trust factor is missing.
— Julie, Head of Design at Product Hunt
The Future of Work is Remote
I built NODESK because I believe remote work is the future of work. Remote work can create a more productive, diverse, and equal workplace. If you believe in what I’m doing, share NODESK with as many people as possible.
Share. Subscribe. Tweet. That’s how we get more companies to embrace remote work and help people find remote jobs.
As always, if you have any comments, feedback or want to get in touch, send me a note. Thanks for subscribing.
